He's been robbed multiple times in the past. But hopefully this role gets him the Oscar. He always delivers, even if its in a sub-par film.

When was he robbed in the past - for which roles?

I am getting a bit weary of acting Oscars always handed to biopics. Frankly I was not exactly awed by his performance. While I knew Oldman would get this Oscar and that Tim Chalamet didn't stand a chance, I consider Chalamet's performance superior. OMG blasphemy!!!

Sigh - so typical of the Oscars. The brilliant, edgy Gary Oldman of Sid and Nancy and Prick Up Your ears clearly deserves an Oscar. The hammy, fussy Gary Oldman on display in this dreadful film does not.
