The movie was Ok until the "savage kids"

They were laughable! They look like they came from Peter Pan's story

I agree It was turning into a solid very watchable film up until that point!

If this was based on a book? I think they must have rushed from that point onwards as it was a terrible way for the plot to go.

I haven't watched the movie yet, but just finished the book. The Savage kids are pretty close to the end, but do play a pivotal role. I think a lot of criticism about the book stemmed from it starting out as one story and then turning into a walking dead type situation. Perhaps in order to get a movie deal? Hmmm. Seemed to have worked!

they should have made them scarrier, both in looks (e.g. blood stained faces) as well as the way it was shot... the kids in Eden Lake were a lot scarrier and they weren't even zombies!

very poor directing... Gremlins were shot in a more menecing way...

The kids would be a logical insertion into the movie, but they were poorly executed. It was hard to take them seriously.

I agree. I'm not sure how that franin with the plot either. Didn't hey crawl their way out from a pregnancy? Seams a pretty rare way to spawn so many.

They reminded me of "The Onlies" from the classic Star Trek episode "Miri".
