Luke is so nice and noble its sickening

I mean my god this guy is more honorable than Captain America, its almost as if you said a curse word around him he'd give you a lecture on why thats bad and you shouldn't say those words. It was so annoying watching him constantly refuse to do certain things like killing The Hand, even though if they didn't they'd never be safe.

I just can't stand heroes like him, thats all holier than thou and act as if they're the symbol of all good and will never do anything that might be a bit in the grey area.

Thats why i love The Punisher, dude gives no fucks and will do whatever it takes to stop the thugs and criminals.

In all fairness, very few comic heroes are anywhere near like The Punisher. Sure, Luke is nobler than many out there but I can respect that at the end of the day he’s just a good guy who wants to live a calm life.

I do hear you though, I expected him to be much rougher than how we’ve seen him so far. There’s one scene in the first season of Luke Cage where he completely goes off on a young punk holding him at gun point. He screams at him, cusses at him, and is basically filled with rage. THAT’S the Luke Cage we should see more of.

I should've also mentioned Jessica Jones along with The Punisher, shes another hero whos really rough around the edges and is in no way a really good person but tries to do the right thing. I like those give no fucks attitude type heroes, ones like Captain America and Luke Cage get on my nerves they're so good.

Luke isn't perfect---he just cares about people, and he's frustrated because people around him are killed or hurt simply because some villain wants to get to him. He comes off as a guy with some definite issues,though--about his past and his present. Never saw him as a noble person, but just a dude who gives a damn about the people in the community he lives in, and they believe in him, appreciate him back, and even help him out sometimes (as is shown from time to time throughout the series.) I also like the heroes who give zero fcks about doing what they got to do----as long as it's for the right cause, though.

I prefer The Punisher by a mile no doubt...hes awesome!!
But Luke is trying to rebuild a broken city and restore some semblance of reason and order to his particular community...hes kind hearted and caring (unlike The big P) so he uses words as often as fists...i like the character for that...
