Jangles' Stare (Spoiler)

When he came back from going missing and finished whatever was in his bowl, Robyn asks where he's been. There's this oddly long shot of him staring back at her. What was this supposed to mean? I was almost waiting for him to speak or something. Very weird.

Best dog acting I've ever seen.

"He could have blown that thing from Pacoima."

reply

Yes i agree. The dog was almost saying "why did you let this happen to me?"

reply

The dog KNEW.

Do you have any tobacco?

reply

I think the shot was a still picture. No blinking, not a hair moving. Have never seen a dog who could be still that long.

reply

The long pause was creepy and brilliant because we were left feeling uneasy and confused over what could have been a meaningless scene. Brilliantly done.

reply

The point was that the dog was unharmed an clean. That means he hadn't escaped and was running around the forest for a few days. He was abducted, cared for, and returned.

reply

He was forced to watch videos of cats beating up dogs and was never the same again.

reply

I am in the middle of watching the movie, and stopped right there.
Weird movie. The comments make sense, or he could just be waiting for a doggie biscuit?

reply

Yeah, its not your typical thriller movie. I've enjoyed it myself and let me say that it really captures the feeling of someone out for revenge and cornering you in.
