Did the gauntlet account for people it indirectly killed?

During one of the end credit scene when Nick Fury is trying to page Captain Marvel, a helicopter crashes meaning at least the pilot got dusted. What about everyone else on the helicopter or in the building it crashed into that probably died indirectly? Does the gauntlet make up for that by dusting less people or did more than half of all life die?

I say no and in the grand scheme of the "Decimation" it doesn't really matter as with so, so, so many souls being affected the collateral damage souls are mostly statistical errors in the genocidal aftermath. To that same thought when it comes to souls and life what is the difference? Who is to say what the soul stone constitutes as "Lives" and or "Beings".

Single cell microbes
Fish
Fowl
Insects

Absent half of all those, how does the half remaining survive any better?

If he is killing off half of all animals and not just humans he'd end up causing harm to animals on the endangered species list. Like white Tigers or certain types of whales.

Endangered Species even in a closed ecosystem is a construct for the vanity of Humans. In an entire universe spanning life it would be irrelevant.

It still makes him a hypocrite with the whole killing off half the population solves everything. Then again he is a hypocrite for killing off half the Asgardians when half of them were already killed of by Hela.
