What was that about the beef jerky display that drove Sarah Palmer around the bend?
It's almost like she was remembering the moment when that evil locust-frog crawled inside her.

Yes, I think I'm not alone wondering who the young couple in Episode 8 are? I read someone else thinking it was Sarah and Leland, or maybe an earlier paramour of hers.

I think the sleeping girl must have been Laura's mother, and evil entered her then, but the spirit of Laura was sent to earth as a force of good, so poor Sarah had both these inside her, maybe battling. Although she would not get pregnant with Laura until years after the locust frog entered her.

When you magnify the bag, there is a bull on the bag that resembles that image that bad Coop showed Daria and that was on the map Hawk had.

Some think the black image with the horn like protrusions is a symbol of an owl. Could be. :/

The sleeping girl was Sarah Palmer? How do we know that?

We are speculating. But there's one bit of information that points to sleeping girl being Sarah Palmer. When the boy is walking her home, she asks him "you live near the school, right?" He answers "yes, how did you know?"

She says "sometimes I just know things". That's something Sarah Palmer used to say in the first two seasons of Twin Peaks.

I don't know, but it might have to do with beef jerky being smoked....you know...fire...wood...evil is coming.
