In his films people never act like real people. After the 2nd victim's (the housewife) stupidity and the first display of "shaky cam" I realized who was directing this and decided to give it a pass.

What would be the point of watching a film of people acting like real people? You could just do that on your own, no film required.

Anyway, far as von Trier goes, I only know I saw Dogville, which was fantastic. Surely you don't think that was a shit show?
