First Tron, then Oblivion, then...a wildfire?

I get what you're saying. I'm a scifi fan too and I liked Oblivion so I would have liked to see another scifi film from Kosinski. But I have to admit that this does look interesting. And the cast is pretty damn good too.

Maybe so, but I'd have a hard time considering this a 'waste'. For the families of the deceased, I imagine it could provide some form of catharsis, or for the deceased themselves, serve as tribute.

Personally, I've no idea what I was doing in 2013 to not have heard of this tragedy, but I hadn't, thought this movie was going to be some sort of action-adventure flick and am still recuperating from having finished it a half hour ago or so. It seems like a story that should have been told, in remembrance of those who lost their lives and for those who do this sort of thing daily in their line of work.

It was pretty powerful, getting to know these people like we did and then be able to understand better exactly what they put on the line every day. Putting a face to those lost, through dramatization or otherwise, seems a noble enough effort and personally, I feel better after having acknowledged the lives and sacrifice of these guys. It seems appropriate somehow, I guess.

What's the flaw of Tron? Aside from de-aging Bridges, I can't recall it having any.
