The John Legend song was so bad... Was it intentional?

I know we're supposed to think that Sebastian is compromising a bit in order to make money, but man that concert was horrible... If this is what it would take to get young people into jazz, then maybe people shouldn't bother!

Funny, that's my friends favorite song in the film?? I think she's crazy for thinking that, but I guess there must be an audience for that sort of song??

Yeah, if a song like that brings jazz to younger people, better to let it die. And the dancers were the worst part of that song Yuck.

Yeah, pretty bad. "La La Land" is a musical for people who have never seen classic musicals and don't have a solid reference point. For those who have seen the great musicals of sixty-five to eighty-five years ago, it just doesn't hold up.

Yes, the song and performance was intentionally horrible. But, there are people who like it. Go figure. lol
