How did Sidious not know about Maul's situation?
Sidious sensed Anakin was in trouble and went to Mustafar to save him. Why couldn't he sense Maul was in trouble and go to help him too?
shareSidious didn't save Anakin out of the goodness of his heart, he saved him because he could make use of what was left of him.
I assume he just didn't think enough of Maul to take the trouble to fix him up or make him a high-ranking Imperial Thug, if he was kept on at all he was demoted. Or discarded.
