Let me start by saying this. I won't lie to you, I haven't seen any of the new Star Wars Disney movies. None of them. However, I would have been really interested in a Han Solo movie if somehow Billy Dee Williams was able to play Lando Calrissian still. I mean come on. They could have used CGs to make him look younger. Nobody can play Lando but Billy Dee Williams. Donald Glover just seems like he doesn't have any of that cool factor that Billy Dee Williams has. Very few people are as cool as him.

Yeah, Glover seems all wrong in the trailers, totally lacking in charm and style and Lando-ness.

But Billy Dee Williams is in his eighties now, and I haven't seen him in public in ages. Is he healthy enough to be making movies, even CGI capture?

I did not like TFA and hated TLJ, but see R1. It’s amazing. Puts the WAR back into Star Wars.

None of the new characters are likeable or even memorable other than the droid, the CGI was creepy especially using the face of a long dead actor to play Tarkin and CGI Leia did not look real.

The only decent bit was the Darth Vader cameo, that was great, other than that this movie is over hyped just like the rest of the abysmal Disney Star Wars movies.

You really don't think Donald Glover will make a good Lando? I think he's going to be the star of this movie. He absolutely has the "cool" factor of Lando. His roles in "The Marian" and "Spiderman: Homecoming" were small, but he really stood out.

I think he's the perfect Lando.

Nobody can replace Billy Dee. Simple as that. This isn't like James Bond where you can have a few different guys play it and it's open to interpretation. There is only one Lando Calrissian

Well, sure, but that's a far cry from saying Donald Glover is a bad choice.
