Sooo...they don't have a trailer ready???

Was talking with the wife last night and she brought up an interesting detail I missed in regards to the screening of footage shown in Germany. She posed the question...why just footage? Does that mean they have no trailer ready? Upon thinking on that for a moment I was kinda stumped. How at this late stage could they have no trailer...not even a teaser...ready for the public? Do they have one and it sucks so bad they are embarrassed to show it? No way to know for sure but it is odd...

I'm scratching my head too. Honestly, all they would need is maybe a shot of the Falcon flying through space and some action shots. They could show Chewie and Han for a split second and he wouldn't even have to say anything. The movie should be capable of selling itself. It's really odd that there is no trailer.

It may well mean they have no idea what to even put in the trailer, so they're testing footage to see what bits of it excite people. That's a REAL bad sign.

According to reports, the trailer should be ready by May 24th.
