And I got to say - I feel like the adventures of young bruce wayne is a bit overdone and unnecessary. And they bring young cat into it - and bruce's friend harvey is already of age?
I mean - they could have stayed true to the canon and still have a good series but nah -

It strays from the canon so far its best to view it as an elseworlds concept, it’s enjoyable with some good performances but the writing seriously lets it down.
shareYeah - to be honest, I don't really care about the canon. But the Bruce bits all seem like filler material - it made sense for him to be in the first episodes, and maybe show up in a few episodes per year, but in every episode? Are they targeting 10 year old demographic here?
I've also already spotted a few places where the dialogue sounded off, so I can certainly see how the writing can get even worse later on.
There are some really high quality actors on this show, but they can carry a badly written script only so far.
Just keep watching -- it's a great show with great acting. Just don't expect it to make sense or follow what's gone before.
