I don't really know where I would rank the ST, since it's still two movies short of a trilogy. And while the general acceptance is that R1 is between the OT and PT, just like TFA by itself, if the idea is to rank the trilogies collectively, it's still too early to rank the ST. Unless everybody's already made up their minds that the OT absolutely cannot be surpassed.

This movie just didn't need to be made. It was absolutely dreadful. Good guys versus bad guys with explosions in space. Enough. Please stop.

shareRogue One is written and overall better than Episode VII, and it's original--like each prequel movie, however it does a better job with acting and dialogue than the prequel movies, also any plot holes in Rogue One are very minimal and it stays true to Episode 4. So my ranking would be:
1) Classic Trilogy
2) Rogue One
3) Prequel Trilogy
4) Episode VII
