this is just a basic slasher movie fancied up by the modern technology aspect. whereas friend request had a lot more original ideas and plot points and ideas which were a lot more intriguing than the ideas, plot points and ideas in this movie.

I agree, Friend Request was an attempt to make the horror genre move into high-tech enviroment. This was just a "paranormal activity online".

Friend request was entertaining. This movie is awful and proabbly the worse idea from blumhouse
