'Bohemian Rhapsody' having grossed $886 millions worldwide. Elvis grossed $269.
It made modest 144 millions in USA. But flopped spectacular outside with only $125 at International Box Office. For a such iconic celebrity its embarrassing. It should have made 'Bohemian Rhapsody' money. But failed.
Title is very misleading. Its like saying: "Elvis' Is Second Highest Grossing movie with lead actor named Austin at Worldwide Box Office With $269.7 Million"
It made a profit, moron! $277m WW, budget only $85m.

Studio doesnt get all those 227 millions on their account. Outside of USA theaters take away about half the money. 125 : 2 = 62,5 millions.
Apart from budget studio spends millions on promotion. All those ads of movies around globe are not for free. When actors fly county to country promoting - studio pays. When its blockbuster studio pays around 100-150 millions on promotion.
With such low ww numbers for Elvis studio may only get their money back. That not why they shot movie. They wanted big profit. But movie flopped outside of USA.
