Episode 3. Where did Nick Offerman got food and gas to run his generators for 20 years?

I missed that explanation. It was before solar panels were invented. Like new apocalypse shows just show how people use solar panels. Show starts in 2003. There werent everywhere back then.

Nick Offerman got gas from his town but it would not last for 20 years. Yet light was always on even during daytime. Which was just stupid waste. And they always had food despite we never saw them hunt outside the fence or growing that much own food. They would have to work on fields every day to grown potatoes, corn etc. Yet they always were sitting at home doing nothing.

That little heaven was nice looking but unrealistic.

You're over thinking the logistics. This show already posits the science fiction of a mind controlling Fungi, and a majority of viewers aren't debating the reality of that aspect anymore than any other Zombie Apocalypse scenario.

Mad Max 2 is actually more unrealistic with its post Apocalyptic societies whether it's tge roving, organized gangs or the refinery colony existing in the middle of the Australian Outback with minimal food and water sources.

Thats my thing. Those little things bother me when I watch movies. In order to care for characters they must look real and do realistic things.

Have you seen the original Planet of the Apes (1968)?

Remember the fire hose used to hose down prisoners - Where is the water pressure coming from?
What about the ammo for the rifles that the apes used? Ammo has a ten year shelf life.

Sometime one just has to go with it, despite any inconsistencies.
