No fast food in the diner, yet chocolate cake and aerosol cream is fine?

This whole movie was an inconsistency. It was stupid and it sucked. In general I like movies with this kind of theme, but this was such a mess and so stupid it pretty much lost me from the start.

They were celebrating a holiday for the cake so it was a special treat. I did find it odd that instead of ordering just eggs, potatoes, and bacon/ham or even a salad that he chose a better source of action would be to steal food.

I understand his philosophy was to stick it to the man, but he was willing to steal a sheep from a local farmer and food from a local store owner. Not exactly the man.
