I wonder if the relationship between Elyse Gabel and Katherine McPhee contributed to the demise. You could tell since they broke up in real life that it was coming through on the show.

I remember watching episode one and the writing was so stupid and not connected to reality I seriously thought it wouldn't last one season. I guess the public loves sci-fi/fantasy mimicking as plain fiction.
