I hope it will have a lot of action
And less talky talky nonsense...
I hate when an action movie lack action scenes and has too much talking.
It will as they saw how much Birds of Prey will lose and decide to do a action movie instead.
shareIkr. I don't understand the logic of making action movies but with less action scenes. That's obviously counter intuitive. If you want a lot of talking and drama, make a drama movie. It's cheaper anyway and you got a chance to win Oscars.
Action movies are for actions. Like shooty shooty bang bang kaboom. How hard is that, really? Today's moviemakers are crazy.
Personally, I prefer the Marvel style of action film, where plot and character development are at the forefront, and the action, when it comes, is spectacular, but not the primary draw. That's been Marvel's selling point since Fantastic Four #1-- they were the comic book that put more emphasis on the human story, with the superhero portion taking a backseat. When it comes time for the heroes and the action, no one does it better than Marvel, but their films are never one-dimensional explosion-fests. We have DC comics and films for those who prefer that. ;)
shareI think Marvel does action better too. It was DC that has too much talking and less action. And it's not only about the amount or length of action scenes but how to tell the story IN the action scenes. DC is struggling with that. The action scenes in most of DC movies has no storytelling. They were just mindless action which were boring.
However, I was concerned because Endgame has too much talking to my liking and it was so succesful I'm afraid Marvel would do it again.
