reply

Pedro Pascal - tough mercenary hero

Glen Powell - funny mercenary hero

Jessica Henwick - hot science hero

Sterling K. Brown - wise science hero

Alfred Molina - well meaning but short sighted boss

Jon Hamm - obvious secretly evil boss

Harvey Guillen - comic relief fat guy

Ed Skrein, Ray Fearon, Jay Hernandez - mercenary bad guys

Jeremy Strong - wormy corporate suit who gets eaten

Iain Armitage - bratty kid who screws everything up

...agreed about Jeff Goldblum. He's the only one who it makes sense to bring back even for a cameo. Everyone else's stories kind of wrapped up.

It will check the diversity boxes

reply

I'm sure it will have a white male as the villain, a black female as the smart one, a black man as the protagonist and a couple other shades of brown filling in the supporting cast. Certainly one gay character too.

reply

Word is they're looking at Scarlett Johansson.

reply

That'd be biggest movie star name for a Jurassic film so far,

Goldblum or Attenborough were prob biggest names before now, (and the original choice for Alan Grant was Harrison Ford)

reply

I think they are trying to bring the franchise back to its roots as a more serious endeavor. Not that the JP films didn't have their sillier moments, but the JW trilogy was decidedly lighter and softer by comparison.

reply

Now word is they want Dev Patel, Jonathan Bailey, and Colman Domingo for the other cast members.

reply

So Glen Powell says he turned down a role for this.
