Why Rick and Morty's 70-episode renewal is a bad idea

The Adult Swim series could go on for as long as 10 seasons. But how many shows are still good in Season 10?
I could do with just 3 more seasons, just to be perfectly safe and completely pure. The Simpsons got bad after season 9.
I think there's some creative issues already. Season 3 repeats some of the same ideas that were in Season 2.
Maybe they'll do some major story arcs. It's nice that they do a cliffhanger at the end of each season.
Show's over. You never recapture the original run. Look at how they messed up arrested development.
