Yeah, makes you wonder. Dude was a respected jazz pianist and pop singing superstar for two decades. Hard to miss.
But "Jeopardy" pretty much died when Trebek did, anyway. As soon as he was gone it became painfully clear how much the show's quality and appeal owed to his personal dignity and charisma.
