My what a terrible performance by her, now I see why everyone was bashing her for her performance in Ant-Man; girl can't act to save her life and it is clear now why she is stuck doing these subpar teen roles. Just a bad actress overall.

shareFinally watched the movie. Kathryn should've been the lead/final girl. I liked her more than Melissa Barrera aka Melissa BORErrera. Melissa was monotone and expressionless throughout the whole movie. Kathryn seemed to be having fun. Also, a lot of people told me to give Melissa Barrera a second chance since I DID NOT like her in Scream 5 and 6, but they were telling me she was a lot better in Abigail than Scream 5 and 6. Plus if I didn't like her in Scream, I would like her in Abigail. Opinion still hasn't changed. She sucked in Scream 5 and 6, and she sucked in Abigail. I liked Kathryn a lot more. Abigail got boring when Kathryn's character died. I didn't care about the rest of the movie. I was rooting for Abigail and her father to kill Melissa's character.
shareIt's because Melissa Barrera can't act. I saw her in 4 movies and she was the same in every single one. Why anyone tried to make her happen I don't even know. She has pretty face. But no charisma at all. She walks around with her boring sad bitchy attitude all the time. Her face expression never changes.
They keep hiring her in lead roles thinking she may be leading actress. Maybe she is nepo child or something. I see that she was getting cast in lead roles in Hollywood shows immediately.
