If--after speaking with each of her coworkers--she had one staunch holdout whose vote would be the tiebreaker, simply offer to pay him or her $1,000 out-of-pocket to vote in your favor. Boom! Problem solved. Sure, it'll cost you a grand but that's nothing compared to losing your entire salary. Sandra was being penny wise and pound foolish. Money talks, baby! Make it happen like Mariah Carey.

I think she tried to lamb but they cheesed her. She could have ordered a mutiny or a coup de Tate la Russo style but they didn’t comp her

Yes, I thought so too. Whenever there is this kind of issue that is only about money, there's always a possible compromise by splitting in some way the difference.
