Pretty sad and unexpected ending. A hard movie to watch, but bonus points for tying to do something different and unique.
Sounds a lot like the Michael Keaton movie, My Life. I don’t want to invest in a sad movie if it’s the same story. Would you happen to know if the story is essentially the same?

I've not seen that , i just remember that clip.
This story is probably similar yet different , with different outcome
worth watching . (especially if you like road trip movies)
