1.03 "Replay"

I gotta say the concept was intriguing. How far can you rewind for the same result.. and nice to see the future changed, or did it? The introduction and diner scenes for me were great suspense.

Overall the episode felt a little long, almost dragged on and on especially after seeing Neil. Maybe it would've been better for the two characters to find a resolution on their own?

There was nothing wrong with them seeking help, cause that cop knew just when to show up. Seems impossible to do, but when you're in the Twilight Zone, what do you expect.

I thought it was pretty interesting. Very tense at times.

agreed...people were tanking this episode on IMDB...but I thought it was great...excellent story telling and well executed direction and acting from the leads. That bad cop was a MOTHER #@$#$!

I think there was a lot of creative opportunity sacrificed here for the sake of a PC rant.

What I think would have been interesting was exploring how she became more and more suspicious in her behaviour as it went on. Wanting to shake the cops hand, wanting to buy him some pie. Sure, she thought she would try being nice but for a cop or anyone with critical thought still intact that would raise your awareness levels.

What would have been really ground breaking would have been to explore why the cop was so suspicious of blacks in the first place. What has he been through? Or is it that he is just suspicious in general and doesn't want to be killed in the line of duty?

So many possibilities but better to just rant.

Asides from the time travel component I didn't see what was so Twilight Zone about it all but then I haven't seen that about any of the eps so far. The comedian one came close but even that was dull overall.

^Lol.

That so-called ranting = far more preferable to the nonstop anti-PC ranting (aka social commentary that continues to challenge my backwardness) you see on these boards and all over the net.

No matter how better or more effective it could’ve been, this episode was destined to trigger the anti-PC crowd that believes the old Twilight Zone wasn’t the “PC” (non-backwards) show of its time. That’s all.
