From the previews so far, it looks like he goes around with his helmet superglued back together, full of visible cracks.
To me, were I actually planning to see this movie, it'd be a constant metaphorical reminder of this being a poor attempt to fix the colossal mistake that was TLJ. :)

Having Kylo take his helmet off was one of TFA's biggest mistakes. It went from almost Star Wars to Twilight in one fell swoop.
We'll never be able to forget Adam Driver's face now in such classic scenes as crying during Han "showdown", topless barrell chest force link with Rey and that terrible looking scene from the new trailer were he looks ridiculously weedy being lashed by rain / water.
Should have kept it on full time.
Taking his mask off was like unwrapping a disappointing Christmas present.
But then we would never have got to see the sublime "slobber gob" scene !
Because Kylo is not Gendry. He doesn't make things, he destroys them. Bwahahahahah !!!
