No staying power, out of top 5 box office?

The interest were lost everywhere after the first weekend in europe and the USA. At that point in time it was known that this was the worst Star Wars movie ever released and almost noone cared about it anymore. Without the presold tickets this movie would have failed completely economically! But it still didnt reached any financial forecast at all. It was KKs Waterloo. And further ones will follow.

If by the gig is up you mean it's the highest grossing film of the year, then yes.

Star Wars has always been front-loaded. The people who want to see it go see it as soon as possible. It's already made its money, $1.27 billion and counting.
