You can only copy gold when you copy an original movie, which is ANH. Certainly JJ wouldn't be dumb enough to copy ROTJ but there is no where else to go with the plot. A new hope awakened in Rey, then the First Order struck back, now the rebels and Jedi will return to make things right once again in the galaxy. Unless JJ decides to do a "Lost" ending or starts a new trilogy in 10, 11 and 12.

J.J. should just put them all on "The Island" and pull a "Lost" ending. That will definitely surprise everyone.

Not really. I'm sure Lost was HATED for fooling fans in the end.
