How are Jedi the good guys?

I mean to become a true Force user, you have to study all its aspects, not just the dogmatic narrow view of the Jedi. Sith know both the good and dark side of the Force, so they can make a truly informed decision, and yet they're seen as evil? Not to mention the Jedi have those stupid constricting rules on celibacy and procreation, and it's no wonder Anakin became a Sith.

The dark side can’t be dabbled with. Once you yield to it, it becomes an irresistible and corrupting parasite.

i know darkness. i love to watch movies about darkness. i love reading about darkness. i love discussing darkness but i will never commit dark deeds such as murder and torture. rape and other things that hurt other people. this is the diffrence between the sith and the jedi. the sith not only know darkness the sith do darkness. and enjoy doing it. the jedi know darkness but oppose it

how can you justify bunch of murderers. maybe you are a sadistic psychopath yourself who love commiting dark deeds in real life.

the jedi know darkness but oppose it

The Jedi DON'T study the dark side at all, they avoid it like the plague, that's my point. They're IGNORANT of it.

How are the First Order the bad guys? Theyre technologically advanced. They must have a decent economy. I don't know what rights/freedoms their people have but I haven't heard anything real negative in the movies. OTOH the resistance are a bunch of SJWs. I think Id rather have the first order in control.

And both the First Order and the Jedi take little kids away from their families, make them into fighting machines and forbid them to love anyone or have families of their own!

Really, what's to decide between them? The Jedi get to have names, but the Stormtroopers are given better outfits.

I believe it is implied that they are an obnoxious and overbearing totalitarian government which grants no rights to its citizens, and demands absolute obedience. It's sort of like where our government was heading under Obama.

so they can make a truly informed decision

Sure they can make an informed decision, but at what cost? Studying the dark side involves doing horrible things you can never take back.
