Seeing as it deals with a real-life whistleblower who uncovered documents that indicated Russian interference in Trump's 2016 election.

Also, in view of Sweeney's privileged MAGA/GOP background, shouldn't she be cast as privileged right-wing/conservative characters rather than appropriating roles as anti-GOP heroes?

I watched the Congressional hearings with Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger and the FBI whistleblowers and it was pretty clear the Dems were not fans of whistleblowers either. Calling people traitors, accusing them of posting insidious things on Twitter knowing full well the witness hadn’t done so, sending the IRS to the witness’s house to intimidate for testifying on a hearing about the weaponization of the government. There are no good faith actors on the Dem side.

A better question is how does her MAGA/GOP family feel about her other 2 HBO roles in "THE WHITE LOTUS" or in "EUPHORIA" (where she does a NUDE scene and plays the part of a SLUTTY character who displays anything but the so-called kind of FAMILY values that this EXTREME RADICAL RIGHT WING group is supposed to value).

But since the current wife of the SCAM MAN ...

(the one who ran the FAKE UNIVERSITY and the FAKE CHARITY, has to pay a woman he raped $5 MILLION bucks, and is also about to be ARRESTED for ESPIONAGE for STEALING even more TOP SECRET government documents than the REALITY character did) ...

also posed for PORNO PICTURES ...

how surprised should one be by the hypocrisy that one finds between what that MAGA/GOP group claims to value and what they actually do?

As for having a privileged MAGA/GOP background ... in first season of "THE WHITE LOTUS" the consequences of that was explored ... when the character this actress portrays was the daughter of a RICH FAMILY ... who was doing all kinds of DRUGS ... that results in the death of another character who runs the FANCY HOTEL where they were staying on vacation.

And she and her RICH FAMILY also treated her younger teenaged brother like crap (he ends up sleeping on the BEACH because they're too CHEAP to get him his own hotel room) to the point where he stays living there on the ISLAND with the natives instead of going back home again to live with his privileged family.

But apparently the HYPOCRITICAL MAGA/GOP types are much more interested in BANNING BOOKS that they don't like than they are in BANNING other FILMS or stories where their own RELATIVES portray SLUTTY or CORRUPTED kinds of characters???

This movie is fiction. Stop acting like it was real. The Russian conclusion was noting but a hoax. It makes me laugh how lefties still want to believe it was real so bad.
