Interesting Season Premiere (SPOILERS)

It was like watching Pearl Harbor all over again but with shitty CGI explosions. Also it occurred to me they should have contingencies in real life if such an occurrence occurs. Like most military nowadays rely on passive and active defense that is computer/ai controlled. If those go down, what's left for defense. They only had a few .50 cals on deck and that was it. They should imo keep 1-2 old AA guns from WW2 like the quad bofors or such cause the only defense I see on modern ships is .50 cals and rifles.

Yeah, didn't see those deaths coming. Quite shocking.

OK suspension of disbelieve that one virus could disable all of the US. I guess they were running windows 95.

but WHY did they kill the brilliant computer hacker who, all by himself, managed to disable the entire US military/defense/government apparatus/satellite network/nukes and who seemed completely dedicated to Tavo's cause?? It was also not that they wanted to keep their involvement hidden, Tavo claimed credit for it straight away.
Other supervillains are usually not brilliant either but at least they keep their mad scientists safe in their evil lairs.
And before the plan was even executed? What if their was a bug in his code or a password on the file?
