Has the moment come and gone?

I was recently thinking about all the delayed blockbusters -- this movie, Wonder Woman, Black Widow, etc -- and realized that I'm indifferent to seeing them now.

I was excited when the marketing ratcheted up late last year for this movie, but now that feeling of "A MUST-SEE EVENT" seems to be gone for me.

No new previews have come out in months, the opening dates keep getting pushed back... They already seem old, even though they haven't come out yet. Does that make sense?

For sure I'll catch them on streaming services as some point, but I just don't have any desire to catch them at the cinema. Nothing to do with the virus and crowds although that's certainly something to think about.

If and when theatres open up again fully, I'm more excited about the next cycle of post-pandemic movies.

only movies in the past few years worth watching recently were John Wick. I dont think i will be watching this lame James Bond in theaters after seeing what a annoying sjw direction they are taking it in. Will rip it from the piratebay when i am bored and stone probably tho

same for me. not sure i can stomach sitting in a theater for it.

I'll be pirate baying this one. Would have been happy to pay for it, but then they went full retard and continued the Spectre canon, so that's their loss.
