Math question - Season 5 finale

I posted this on themoviedb but i would like to ask here as well.

The swat or governor's men or whatever counted the girls twice and found out they were 10 inmates short.
In the pool there were 10 people (i made sure to freeze it before the door explosion and count them).
Considering they counted Linda they are 1 inmate short.

But we know Pennsatucky is out and also Mei Chang escaped (see ya motherf*ckers)

Am i missing something or are they really bad at math? :)

I came to the same count - definitely an error on the writers part.

Could be bad at math- I was wondering the same thing.

What did you think of the finale? I totally got a Toy Story 3 vibe from the ladies as they held hands together- coming as one, as fire and smoke was coming towards them. If there's one thing these writers get credit for, it's keeping us in suspense. Loved the final episodes.

All the problems with Season 5 (don't get me wrong...I still liked it..definitely better than HoC Season 5), and this is what people are focusing on?
