S3 was really good

The way they made the time transitions was smooth, the story was on point and they managed to dance around racial/political issues without being the typical annoying sjw hollywood crap we see everywhere these days which ends up taking over the whole story. Truly a well done show in every aspect. My only criticism is perhaps that I didn't buy Hoyt having that kind of pull to get the AG dancing for him trying to bury the investigation even if this was not necessarily the case and we can speculate the AG and so on were doing it just to advance their careers, it certainly is implied in the show that Hoyt has that kind of power and influence with those people. Would like for him to be fleshed out a little bit more so it would be more believable but it's just a minor nitpick that doesn't take away from the show I suppose.

9/10 from me, up there with the best.

No. Just, no.

I'm fairly certain that Hoyt did not have power over the AG; the AG just didn't really give a damn about the case itself. I think it reinforces the fact that Hays was being shafted from multiple directions (whereas West went along with the career route).
