Quite a lot of negativity on this board (but IMDb boards are more for haters than lovers so...).
But I thought this film was atmospheric, unique and overall satisfying experience.
As good as, if not equal to, Only Lovers Left Alive by Jarmusch. (I understand there's tons of comparisons already)
Just wanted to leave my appreciation here.

The music, cinematography, and actors are absolutely gorgeous here.
Won't be recommending to everyone, but to a selected few that I know will understand the film's topic and appreciate its homages and originality.

Yea, but it's rated higher than most in the genre, especially as of late. 'It Follows' and 'The Witch' are both under 7 on here and I have them at 10, as do many others and they're critically acclaimed. It's a tough crowd. I prefer Metacritic, RT and some people from The AV Club and a few other sites for reliable reviews. It's always Love/Hate on here. Trolls pick the boards and it's over.

I really liked it too; I'm surprised to see it getting such a bashing on here. I found it atmospheric and compelling.
