And already this is so much better than Home Alone 4 and 6, heck it might even be better than Home Alone 3.
I realize that isn’t saying much however but unlike 4 and 6 I don’t feel like bashing my brains in with a hammer until all memory of that movie is gone.
Even the second Home Alone was not that great. As far as I can tell, the franchise had one good movie. I am shocked it has now continued on for six films.
share2 wasn't a bad film, just really a remake more than a sequel (same plot, kid left alone who then devises all sorts of painful traps to the two same thugs).

It's now been years and years since I last watched Home Alone 2 but what I recall is that it didn't feel like nearly as much of a Christmas movie as the first film. It didn't have that "Christmas movie magic." But maybe I should revisit it before I offer too much of an opinion.
