- Non White main protagonist hero....check
- Evil corporate Whites....check
- Black female scientist....check

They had one good White guy in order to not make it too obvious. I almost already got my hopes up when they showed the poaching scenes that they would also show how Blacks can be evil too, but no. The scene barely showed who was doing the poaching. Apparently showing any Black people in a negative light is totally unacceptable these days.

Nope, It's a people. Both in cultural and genetic terms. Just like Native Americans are a people, despite the fact they are divided into different ethnic groups.
