There really wasn't a point to this movie. It is a downer most of the way through and with hyper-violence.

It is dark, but to me, meaningless.

I think what did it for me was that the main antagonist lacked any charisma at all and provided no reason whatsoever to like the character at all. Even when the villain dies it is "about time" rather than any sympathy.

Some will find this in their wheelhouse. And it does have good acting by everyone in the movie.

I enjoyed it but too found Gallner to be the weak link, though I like him in other things. A little backstory on him like we get the protagonist would have been nice.

I liked it. To me, the meaning is that he DOES take charge and he DOES decide things, and that's a huge step....(not the killer, Randy).
