Only issue i have is Norman constantly looks guilty and unhinged

He doesn't show any of that boy next door charm that Anthony Perkins had in the original movie, Perkins was so nice and polite as Norman you wouldn't think he was crazy. But Freddie as Norman he's constantly angry or looking really guilty, i mean when the sheriff was talking to him a blind man could see he was guilty and hiding something, he was like a second away from breaking.

And don't even get me started on the psychiatrist, Norman was pretty much telling him in bold letters that he's bat shit crazy and completely off his meds. He was staring very coldly into space and his eyes was practically in tears.

I mean Freddie as Norman couldn't fool anyone into thinking he's even a tiny bit sane, he's constantly fumbling his words, sounding and looking guilty, and acting like he's one second away from cracking and losing his shit.

It would be nice if we could see him at least half way trying to put on that phony nice boy charm and fooling people. I mean he somewhat tries but no one with any sense would buy it.

Maybe this is intentional, as it would be far harder to hide what Norman is trying to hide NOW than it was in the early 1960s....same with Marion disappearing with the 40K...

That's a really good point.
