Why is this in the top 250?
Really, it shouldn't be. But I guess the top 250 is already messed up enough.

Really, it shouldn't be. But I guess the top 250 is already messed up enough.
Because most of the users on the IMDB are immature movie viewers.
By that I men mostly males between age 11 to early 30s.
Simply put they're people raised on character driven graphic-novel story telling, which is a fairly self centered story venue.
So when you get things like "Guardians of the Galaxy" hitting the theaters, and you have people (again, mostly male, but not exclusively) who were raised on big budget B-movies with lots of SFX, you're going to get this kind of junk voted in.
Simply put, if you raise your kids on Big Macs, then ask them to rate a gourmet pizza restaurant, then you're going to get Big Mac tastes rating said eatery.
It's pretty sad too, because even gangster films from the 30s and 40s were better than this trash. share
The average ratings for the 30-44 and 45+ groups are actually pretty much the same as the ratings from 18-29 year olds, and it's not just men. Next time you might want to check out the ratings before making generalizations like that.
I agree though, this movie shouldn't be in the top 250.
Give me a reason why it shouldn't be.

Well this has got to be one of the absolute dumbest and worst films I have ever seen in my entire life.
How teenage morons rate this crap so high is beyond me.

I love this movie and its even better the second time you watch it. Dont think ive seen a movie in the last few years with the amount of energy, flair and adventure this film had with characters that hated each other at the beginning who became best friends at the end. All these characters had heaps of personality despite it only being a 2 hour movie and it introduced MCU viewers to the galaxy of planets like Xandar and infinity stones with what i feel is near perfect pacing. This movie is just epic the second time around
