It's really funny when Episode 4 (?) played up the acting inadequacies of Davis' daughter when she took over the role of the neighbor's daughter in WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE?....though honestly, I never watched the real movie and thought, "Gee, that's one stinkin' BAD actress!!"

Is her actual performance actually bad? It's kind of a nothing part. It's not like she SHINES in it...but she's not really awful, either. (I realize that's faint praise!)

I'd pretty much just classify her as neutral.

It is such a tiny performance. I tried finding the clip and couldn't find it on youtube. Basically, the character is supposed to be a snotty teen-ager, which (apparently) wasn't that far a reach for BD.

I know I think it is a Hilarious that they really play up how terrible she was on the show. I saw the original scene it she is perfectly adequate. on the show they actually said that she could ruin the movie ha ha
