shareThe set designer for Batman 89 purposefully had mismatched architecture for Gotham to make it look ugly. Meanwhile, Christopher Nolan modeled Gotham at least partially on Kowloon Walled City in Hong Kong to make it look ugly. Every movie had an ugly Gotham except the Schumacher ones.
Also, no Batman movies have ever inspired a mass shooter.
