How Come They Wear Outside Shoes at Home?

They walk around with boots and high heels. Who does that? I know they're just on a TV set, so they're technically "working", but no need to kill all the realism. No one walks around with uncomfortable jeans and dresses and heavy make-up and shoes most of the time in the home.

Now I'm not saying I want to see Tim Allen in shorts, or in those crocks or sandals. But still something a little more comfortable. I mean that Hefner pimp robe would make more sense than walking around in boots at home.
