about the death of Ulysses Klaw. Wasn't expecting it at all. I read that he's one of Black Panther's major enemies in his rogues gallery. With the buildup he got in Age of Ultron, I wasn't expecting him to be killed at all.
Sent to prison? Yes. Killed off? No way.

shareI know. Among the many surprises in Black Panther, Klaw being killed shook me. After he was in the film for a good number of scenes, I had expected him to at least make it further than he ultimately did. Hell, frankly I was so stunned by this turn of events that for a second I even thought Klaw was out of nowhere going to rise up and start laughing as Killmonger was about to enter the kingdom of Wakanda. Then... they showed his lifeless body.
Ulysses’ place in the comics aside, in Age of Ultron & Black Panther it did feel as if there were bigger plans for Klaw, so for that reason this made his ending all the more surprising. In a way, this was hugely disappointing because he was such a ridiculously fun, chaotic bad guy. At the same time, the way he was taken out (and by the film’s great main villain) was satisfyingly unexpected. I would not be surprised if he were to return in some way.
Just like the Supreme Leader Snoke twist in The Last Jedi, who was ironically, also played by Andy Serkis. That guy's going to give Sean Bean a run for his money.

Serkis is fantastic.
I never read the comics so I wasn't too sure on the character. It did seem like this movie had a bit of villain overload though and i'm assuming they felt they had to get rid of one by the half way point in order to get some closure before the main villain rears his head again. Too bad though cause Serkis is was really killing it up til that point.

Yeah I was sad to see him go, fantastic actor. I'm sure he'll be back in other blockbuster films, I liked his connections to Marvel and Star Wars though. Wasn't that bummed about Snoke dying, but Klaw, yes.
