The fact that bigots of all shades are arguing about a movie they haven't seen

speaks volumes of the decadent, devolved, degraded state of humanity.

I'm judging ALL of you!

I'm I through to the next round?

Here we go again. There are good people on BOTH sides aren't there?

On THIS board?

My response was very much in jest but still "pandering" for a level of civility and agreement.

I think that will take more than pandering, dude.

What can be done is take responsibility for your own actions/words and then proceed with a bit of thoughtfulness.

Posters can joke, poke fun, debate, provide food for thought, state opinions, be a devil's advocate and communicate.

Easy-peasy.

if we want to be charitable, one could argue that at least a few of them are arguing the context surrounding the movie and not the movie itself, since they have not seen it... very few of them, but they're around...

it's all terribly post modern... arguing over a pop media consumer product movie in this way, as a proxy for political discussions... as if the imdb & rotten tomatoes ratings are election results that matter in real world policy...

All absurd is that in all of this discussions, rarely does the corporate nature of these products come about... it's discussed as if these movies are an extension of political factions rather than the result of market segmentation and opportunistic branding that worked so well with Wonder Woman... could it be that the studios PR teams are counting on a little controversy to hype this movie further?

I wonder if the movie will be any different from all the other tedious comicbook movies... from nolans batmans through the avengers and superman vs batman to this movie now... they're all the same...
