bummer. I loved the characters! I really hope to see Miriam Shor (Cricket) on tv again, soon!

Yeah, me too. I totally loved this show, and thought for sure we'd be watching season 2 this fall. How could they cancel a show that is so good??

I actually like the show and too bad that ABC didn't give the show a 2nd chance since I think it would have been interesting to have Amanda's boyfriend,Burl and the kids become series regulars in season 2.

It was clever, but not that great. It might have played too much to the bible belt, and shot itself in the foot for that.

I thought the series was good (and I've lived in the southwest - the writers knew their stuff about living there). The acting was uniformly terrific. The show looked very costly - maybe that was why, combined with the ratings, that ABC cancelled the show. Too bad that the series ended with so much of the story left unresolved.

Happens all the time. Only good current show to get multiple seasons is The Big Bang Theory.

Other than that, only the crap survives these days.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I loooved this show! I only got to it late and marathoned the first 8 epis in one day, it was BRILLIANT! How did this not get renewed?!

I really like the show. I don't watch too many "guilty pleasure" type shows, but this one was funny, and over- the-top and ridiculous in a great way. I am so bummed out right now. It doesn't seem like it got a fair chance.

I felt the same way (and I love your user name). this is a sad day for me seeing some of my favorite new shows canceled. I've decided not to watch any new shows anymore, screw the executives. When my current shows end that's it for me, I'll be free from tv at last!!

My coworker and I LOVE this show!!!! She told me today at lunch that the show got canceled! I about died! I love all the characters and thought it was so over-the-top that it was great! My friend who is a GCB, herself, thought this show was great! So, I just don't understand why ABC would cancel it!?!?!? I hope this show get's picked-up by another network. I remember one of my other favorite TV shows Friday Nights Lights, got picked-up by another network, then NBC took back the show. So, I really hope another network takes this show!!! It's too GOOD!

That shows that are a little different (aka: interesting) always get canceled.

It seems like prime time is becoming nothing but reality shows and cop/detective shows, neither of which I like.

Really? I wish they would have given it a second season, or another channel picked it up. It was getting better and better.

I'm truly hurt. I thought this was a fresh and funny show!! It's too bad good shows get canceled, while shows that are not as good stay on the air for years.
