GCB Canceled :(

bummer. I loved the characters! I really hope to see Miriam Shor (Cricket) on tv again, soon!

I liked the show really well except for Amanda. Couldn't stand her.
All the other characters were interesting and quirky and odd. Leslie Bibb was so average that she bored me to tears.
She ruined it.

I just started watching the show on Hulu...I'm not one for watching prime time shows, but this one is excellent! I'm so sorry I missed it during it's run, and I'm really saddened it didn't get picked up for a second season. Not surprised, I guess - just saddened. My guess is it hit a little too close to home for many. I went to school with many "Cheesus" followers, as my very devout friend calls them. You know, the ones who use their professed faith to bludgeon the rest of us? Anyhoo, I actually thought you got to see the humanity beneath all the ridiculousness, which made the show much more fun to watch than if it were just straight satire. Excellent cast, superior writing and direction. I wish a cable network like HBO or Showtime would've picked it up. I agree with other posters...Cricket is by far my favorite character.

Stupid, stupid name for a show. Meaningless. Titles matter. If the title doesn't attract or, worse, repels (like $#*! My Dad Says), it can keep a show from ever getting started. Stupid name hurt this show. Who knows what it might have done had it been given a name that piqued some interest? Besides, once I finally could find out what the title meant, the translation is repellent. If you liked this show, write the producers. Request that they not be such morons in the future. A new show should be given every chance to succeed. Do you ever wonder why they seem to doom some of them from the start?

It's harder to change a show's title when it's based on a book. OMM was constantly calling and emailing the show's sponsors just to be annoying. Then they'd go back to Facebook and say "praise Jesus!" like they're doing something good. If those women put half that energy into their community, the world would be better off. Instead they focus on shows that are on well past their kid's bedtime.

Just started to watch it on Hulu, such a pity they canceled it, it was fun.
