Did anyone accidentally take their children to see this?

I remember seeing some advertisements for the film before it came out. I don't recall anything that made me think that it would be REALLY inappropriate for kids. (Does anyone else remember any warnings in the trailer?) I just watched it on the movie network and was completely taken off gaurd by the fact that it was a cartoon "food porn"!

Are there any funny stories out there about parents bringing their children to see the movie (not realizing the amount of adult content) and then having to make a hasty dash for the door?

Haha no I didn't take my daughter to see this (but then she is only 3 months old so wouldn't know what's going on anyway)... that said, it is rated an 18 so that's a bit of a hint. I thought it was a terrible film though, I thought it was going to be a comedy horror (like the trailer made it seem they would all suddenly realise they're going to be killed and eaten), I didn't think it was going to be the same childish joke the whole way through (basically 'stick your sausage in my bun'). It's a shame because I found the whole film really disappointing.. perhaps I'm just too old for it?

The ads for this movie were actually shown before Find Dory viewings. It would have been something if parents actually thought this was rated PG or G.

Sure you did.

i was managing a movie theater at the time of its release and never heard any stories about parents accidentally taking their kids to see it. the closest thing i can think of was a strict catholic mexican family who demanded refunds because of how shocking the movie was.
